Kim quit her job as an investment banker in 2013 to start Locket, an app maker for smartphone lock screens. She raised $3.2 million in venture capital and then sold to e-commerce company Wish in 2015. Now she has a new app, Simple Habit, which offers five-minute meditation sessions for busy people.
