Yury Yakubchyk wants to reinvent modern hospitality by taking boutique hotels and upgrading them for the Airbnb generation. In 2017, Yakubchyk cofounded The Life House Group, which raised $60 million in real estate capital and $10 million from venture capitalists like Comcast Ventures and Trinity Ventures. Life House's first hotel in Miami opens at the end of November, and the company plans to have over 20 hotels under development by the end of 2019. Before Life House, Yakubchyk cofounded Wing, a millennial-friendly wireless phone carrier.
