My name is Yvan Bayisabe and I am 23 years old.

About myself:

I am a student and study law faculty at university of Oslo. Besides studying I do volunteer work. Through volunteering I have managed to start a youth organization with my friends in 2007 which is called “ungdomsfabrikken” (direct translation youth-fabric). The mainly goal for the organization is to create space for juveniles so that they can have an opportunity to impact their society with something positive. We do that by focusing on empowerment, basically giving young people responsibility to create their ideas and share it with others.

Goals and dreams:

My dream is to leave in a world where everybody gets the chance to fulfill their dreams and potentials. A place where everyone can have opportunity to be individuals and define themselves. That’s mainly why me and my friends started our organization Ungdomsfabrikken because we believe that every human being has a potential in something.

Achieved goals:

Top ten youth leader in 2011 Youth magazine “Umag” Being myself!

My wish in/for this world: People misuse their power by putting others in box which needs to stop! And Change, because we all can!
