Ziad Ahmed is a Muslim-American youth activist, entrepreneur, and speaker.
Ahmed is the co-founder and CEO of JUV Consulting, which is a youth consulting firm. In his role as CEO, Ahmed works to empower teens with the opportunity to communicate directly with businesses about what exactly appeals to youth. The company has grown to have over 100 teen consultants worldwide, a network of nearly 500 students used for qualitative feedback, and clients that include Fortune 500 companies. JUV Consulting has been profiled by Bloomberg Businessweek, Business Insider, and Mic.
He also founded a teen organization, redefy, committed to defying stereotypes, redefining perspectives positively, embracing acceptance and tolerance, and creating an active community in September of 2013. He oversees all aspects of the organization and immerses himself deeply into his activism. He has been recognized as a leader in his field through being included in conversations at the White House about discrimination, chosen as a member of many organizing committees of social movements, and invited to meet many high profile leaders. His work has been commended by President Barack Obama personally, PBS, CCTV, and other notable sources. Additionally, he has been the recipient of the Diana Award, the National Youth Activist Award in Social Justice, and the Princeton Princeton Prize in Race Relations. MTV has even named him one of the top nine teens changing the world, and a High School Trailblazer. Business Insider has named him one of the top 15 young prodigies changing the world.
Ahmed is keen to use his voice to provoke dialogue, progress, and change, and has done so through writing, speaking, and creative expression. His writing can be seen in outlets such as Teen Vogue, The Huffington Post, Medium, or Redefy. As Ahmed continues to try to use his voice to advocate for justice, he speaks for international audiences.
Ahmed is available in partnership with Collective Speakers.
