She brings 15+ years of experience in hyper scalability across complex B2B and B2C environments, navigating digital transformation and business model disruption in consumer, hospitality/travel, real estate, retail, fintech, transportation, logistics, and e-commerce marketplace businesses.

As SVP & GM of Global Lodging Strategic Partnerships and Vacation Rentals across all brands at Expedia Group, Zuhairah leads a global team of 250+ and is accountable for billions in revenue. She is passionate about discovering win/win, strategic unlocks that grow the pie, and cement her role as a trusted advisor, asking the right questions.

Previously, Zuhairah spent half a decade in General Manager roles at Uber, joining as one of the first few hundred employees. As GM for Uber’s 5th largest US market (DC-MD-VA), she owned the regional P&L, grew trip volume 1300%, and revenue 25x to a $1B annual run rate in three years. Zuhairah also played an instrumental role in getting first-of-its-kind legislation passed to regulate and legalize ridesharing in the Mid-Atlantic region.

As a recognized thought leader, Zuhairah has been published and quoted in the Harvard Business Review, NPR, Forbes, and MSNBC. She was recognized in 2020 by Savoy Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America and in 2016 by the Washington Business Journal as one of the Top 40 Under 40 executives in the region.

Zuhairah earned a JD/MBA from Harvard University and a BA magna cum laude from UCLA. She is a wife and mother and enjoys singing, international travel, modern art, real estate investing, and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks.
