Charles Harrington is chairman, CEO and president of Parsons Corp., a global engineering, construction, technical and management services firm. The Pasadena-based firm employs more than 15,000 people and has revenues exceeding $3 billion. Harrington previously served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. He was founding president of Parsons Commercial Technology Group and vice president of a multibillion-dollar engineering and construction project with the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site. After joining Parsons in 1982, he worked on diverse programs in locations ranging from Saudi Arabia to the North Slope of Alaska. Harrington serves on the boards of AES Corp., the California Science Center Foundation and the Cal Poly SLO Foundation. He is chairman of the Cal Poly President's Council of Advisors. He holds a bachelor's in engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.
