John Britton is a Senior Director of Developer Marketing at GitHub. Previously, Britton served as Director of Developer Marketing and an Education Liason after joining GitHub in 2012.

Prior to joining GitHub, Britton served as a GitHub Organization Administrator at Google and volunteered at Peer2Peer University, Couch Surfing, Mozilla Foundation.

Britton also has experience as a Lead Developer for Flat World Knowledge, a Developer Evangelist for Twilio, and a Project Manager for Peer 2 Peer University.
