Peruvian born and Texas-based Marcela Marañon (she/her) is a powerful activist for disability inclusion, well-known for her solo traveling as a wheelchair user. She showcases accessible travel options and was the first Latin disabled woman to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, a true travel icon! In addition to her travels, Marañon is the founder of 'The Brave Woman Shop', a boutique clothing brand, to empower people "not to limit themselves".

She also is a big pioneer and advocate for exoskeleton technology that helps people with spinal cord injuries to walk. With her work as a creator, Marcela has partnered with companies like Amazon Fashion, Modcloth, Google, Clinique, T.J.MAXX, CoverGirl, Burlington and more.
