Roland Schoeman is South Africa's most successful swimmer, a ten- times world record holder and Olympic Games triple medallist.

Roland Schoeman is South Africa's most successful swimmer, a ten- times world record holder and Olympic Games triple medallist. This international swimmer, a proud South African who is committed to nation-building, has numerous awards to his name - these include in 2010 being voted in the top five of South Africa's best-ever sportsmen in L'Equipe magazine, in 2009 being voted as the Athlete of the Decade in The Times, and having the honour of South African Journalists nominating him as one of SA's greatest male athletes of the century (alongside the renowned Lucas Radebe, Ernie Els and Percy Montgomery). Roland has a seat in the Hall of Fame in the Universities of Pretoria and Arizona, and was a record-breaker in Commonwealth Games, World Champs and gold medallist in the 2004 Olympic Games. He is able to put his degree, a BA in Psychology and Communication from Arizona University, to good use for a corporate audience when he covers topics such as change management, self-motivation and self-limitation. In addition, this eloquent and intelligent presenter is well equipped to cover "creating a team out of individuals" and preparing for competition in sport and business. When not spending hours training and travelling, Roland is a self-confessed golf freak who has a soft spot for animals.
