Scholar, Writer, Poet, Teacher, Activist & Winner of the International Harvard Debate Competition

Jayla Jackson is a Public Speaker, Scholar, Writer, Poet, Teacher, and Activist. She is also the co-founder of the Non-Profit Blankidz, an organization that distributes homemade blankets to foster kids, disabled veterans, and the homeless. Currently she is the president for her Girls in Politics cohort, and while at the Ron Clark Academy was a student ambassador traveling to places such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, NYC, Barcelona, South Africa, and more. Jayla is a co-host on the teen podcast "The Scholar Social" where they dissect complicated topics and debate resolutions. She was also a keynote speaker on the March for Voting Rights rally on August 28, 2021 in Atlanta GA. She has been featured on all major platforms such as CBS, ABC, NBC, BNC, MSN, Yahoo, Fox 5, V-103, Steve Harvey Show, etc. In all, she aspires to study Civil Law and continue her activism work through her writing and projects.
