Mehmet Sen is a cell adhesion biologist and assistant professor in the department of biology and biochemistry at the University of Houston.

He is currently establishing his lab at the University of Houston. His research interests lie in the structural and functional basis of receptor/ligand interactions, which are relevant to human health and disease.

Sen has completed his PhD from the University of Houston, Department of Biology and Biochemistry and postdoctoral studies from Harvard Medical School.

In addition, Sen spoke at Immunology Summit 2015 conference.
