Dr. Mithika Mwenda is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, a network of African organizations seeking to advance a just climate policy. He has extensive experience in climate change policy advocacy and has worked to catalyze transformative change in communities, civil society and other sectors.

Previously, Mwenda worked as a Climate Change Officer with the All Africa Conference Churches and Climate Network Africa. Before this, he worked and volunteered in numerous governance and human rights, as well as democracy organizations in Kenya. He was a Co-Convener of the National Convention Executive Council in the 2000s, which premiered and spearheaded the agitation for the new constitution of Kenya, 2010 constitution of Kenya.
