Managing Partner, Jina Ventures.

Ron Shah has focused on private equity & venture capital for over a decade. After successfully co-investing in global tech & life science companies while working at Quantum / Resurgence Capital in New York, Shah founded Jina Ventures in 2003 to focus on emerging markets private equity.

Over the past 10 years, Jina Ventures advised several notable EM companies including MakeMyTrip.com, Zee Enterprises and Novartis Venture Fund. Jina Ventures launched its first India-focused PE Fund in 2005. The Fund invested in 12 Indian companies and produced 12 exits by 2011 with top quartile performance. For the past two years, Jina Ventures has been focused on PE/VC secondary investments in Asia.

Over his career, Ron Shah has sat on the board of directors of several notable Indian and U.S. companies and non-profits. He received a "40 under 40" award from M&A Advisor in 2010. He is an active angel investor in tech and health care start-ups globally and has been on-air contributor for CNBC since 2010.

Mr. Shah received his BBA from the George Washington University and his MBA in corporate finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.
