Ana Homayoun  

Author of "That Crumpled Paper Was Due Last Week" and "The Myth of the Perfect Girl"

Since founding Green Ivy Educational Consulting, Ana Homayoun has become a nationally recognized innovator of motivational organization and time-management strategies for junior high and high school students. Her first book, "That Crumpled Paper Was Due Last Week," was released by Perigee (a division of Penguin Books) in January 2010. Her second book, "The Myth of the Perfect Girl," will be published by Perigee in January 2013.

Ms. Homayoun travels around the nation and abroad speaking with parents and students and consulting with schools to create effective motivational organization and time-management programs that empower students to reach their full personal potential and pursue their own personal sense of purpose. She also presents to college students on creating a pathway to college success using organization and time-management strategies.

Ms. Homayoun is a graduate of Duke University, and serves on the National Board of Directors for the Duke University Young Alumni Development Council. Ana is a member of the Leadership Council for the San Francisco Bay Area Year Up organization, a non-profit devoted to empowering urban talent to reach their potential. She also holds a Masters in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the University of San Francisco.
