Darline Jean has been Chief Operating Officer at PulsePoint, Inc. since May 2014. Jean is responsible for scaling and extending PulsePoint's Real Time Bidding (RTB) business in the US, Europe and internationally. She served as the President of About.com, Inc. since September 1, 2011 and served as its Chief Executive Officer since September 1, 2011. There, she was responsible for the strategic direction of the business unit that includes About.com, CalorieCount.com and ConsumerSearch.com.

She first joined About.com in 2003 as Vice President of Finance with more than 12 years of experience in finance and accounting within the media/publishing industry. Prior to joining About.com, she was the director of financial planning and analysis for Thomson Media, a major publisher of financial publications. She started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi before joining Thomson Reuters.

Jean holds a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York and an M.B.A. with a concentration in both finance and accounting from Long Island University.
