Dean Hill, ASLA, CGP is the Director of Sustainability for greenscreen, a product manufacturer of green facade technology. Dean Hill has over 18 years of experience in the landscape construction/home improvement profession and more than 15 years of landscape design experience.

He is a Full Member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and has served on various ASLA National Committees. He is a past president of the Indiana Chapter (INASLA). Dean is also one of the first landscape designers to be a Certified Green Professional as designated by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Dean has six seasons (78 episodes) of television experience as co-host/landscape designer/contractor for "Grounds For Improvement" on the DIY Network/RIVR Media.

In 2011, Dean was the featured landscape designer and on-air personality with Ty Pennington on the Rachael Ray Show's "Great Philly Cook Off".

He has also appeared on the local Indianapolis NBC affiliate, WTHR-TV, as the "Inside/Outside Guy". He provided home improvement tips and live hits during the Eyewitness News Sunrise, Weekend Sunrise, and Eyewitness News at Noon newscasts.

Dean is a co-author of Grounds For Improvement: 40 Great Landscaping and Gardening Projects published by Lark Books (2007). He is also the co-author of Weatherproofing Your Landscape published by the University Press of Florida (2011).

The "Rainwater Harvesting" webisode on GreenDeanTV.com has been nominated for a Great Lakes Region Emmy and a 2009 Webby Award.

Dean has appeared in 12 radio and tv commercials promoting energy efficiency and conservation for Vectron Corporation.

Dean has been a featured contributor to articles in Martha Stewart Living, Innovative Home, Landscape Architecture, Home Remodeling, Home Improvement, HomeStyle and Men's Health Living magazines.

Dean has also contributed to articles on ConsumerReports.org and HGTV.com.
