Dominique Brebner, known professionally as Dominique Jackson and Tyra Allure Ross, is a Tobagonian-American actress, author, model, and reality television personality. As an actress, she is most known for her leading role of Elektra Abundance on the FX television series "Pose". Jackson also stars in Starz TV's "American Gods," enhancing her visibility in the television industry.

In addition to her acting career, Jackson has made significant contributions to fashion. She began her modeling career in 2000 at Brooklyn Fashion Week and has since walked in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and for designers like Adrian Alicea Couture, Manuel Pelferes Couture, and Angel Ayala Couture. Her presence was notably prominent during the 2016 Fall/Winter Fashion Week, walking for Gypsy Sport by Rio Uribe and Stevie Boi.

Jackson has been open about her mental health struggles and has used her platform to advocate for the LGBTQ community, particularly transgender rights and representation in the media. She has served as Mistress of Ceremonies for events such as "Newark Is Burning" at NJPAC (Newark, NJ) in 2011, demonstrating her skills in public speaking and community involvement. Jackson was also inducted into the House and Ballroom Hall of Fame and deemed Iconic on February 27, 2016, at the NYC Ball Awards. In 2017, she received multiple accolades, including the Legacy of Pride Award from Harlem Pride, the first Bronx LGBT Leadership Award from Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz JR and Allies LGBT Pride Celebration, and a New York State Assembly Citation issued by Mark Gjonaj.

After a thirteen-year writing process, she released her autobiography "The Transsexual from Tobago". Her literary work provides a deep insight into her personal and professional journeys. Jackson has also appeared in other media, including "Call Me, Christopher Street: The Series", "My Truth, My Story", "Visible: The LGBTQ Caribbean Diaspora", and starred in the Oxygen Network’s GLAAD Award-winning reality docu-series "Strut," which was executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg and Tom Leonardis. Her work on "Strut" earned her a GLAAD Media Award nomination.

Jackson's involvement extends beyond the screen and runway; she has also worked for several nonprofit organizations that provide outreach and services to the LGBTQ community and has served on the Community Health Program Board at the Montefiore South Bronx Healthcare Clinic for the last two years. Her diverse roles in activism, advocacy, and public speaking highlight her commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity in every sphere she touches.
