Jack Carr is a bestselling thriller author, former Navy SEAL sniper, and avid outdoorsman. Over his 20 years in Naval Special Warfare, Carr transitioned from an enlisted SEAL sniper to various commanding positions, leading assault and sniper teams in Iraq and Afghanistan, practicing counterinsurgency in the southern Philippines, and commanding a Special Operations Task Unit in the most Iranian influenced section of southern Iraq throughout the tumultuous drawdown of U.S. Forces. He is a two-time recipient of the Bronze Star Medal with V Device, reflecting his distinguished military career.

In addition to his military service, Carr is known for his critically acclaimed series of thriller novels, "The Terminal List." His debut novel of the same name was not only a commercial success, winning the Goodreads Choice Award for Debut Author and the Thriller Award for Best First Novel, but also gained cultural significance as it was adapted into a television series starring Chris Pratt.
