Josh Lozman

Josh Lozman is director of Program Advocacy & Communications for women’s and children’s health and gender equality. Josh leads the foundation’s strategy for co-chair Melinda Gates’ advocacy and communication.
Josh joined the foundation in 2012 after serving in the Obama Administration as chief of staff to the National Economic Council. He spent a decade working on global campaigns, policy initiatives, and for political candidates that support improved global health and development. This includes nearly five years at the campaigning organization ONE leaving as global policy director and chief of staff.
Josh holds an MPH and MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from Dartmouth College.
