Mr. O. Andreas Halvorsen is the Chief Executive Officer, Risk Manager, and Co-Founder at Viking Global Investors L.P. He co-founded the firm in 1999 and manages the Viking Global Equities program at the firm. Prior to this, Mr. Halvorsen was a Senior Managing Director and Director of Equities at Tiger Management LLC. He was an Investment Banker in the corporate finance and merger departments at Morgan Stanley. Prior to moving to the United States, Mr. Halvorsen graduated from the Norwegian Naval Academy and served as a Platoon Commander on the Norwegian Seal team. He is a Member of the Advisory Council of Stanford Graduate School of Business. Mr. Halvorsen is a Member of the Williams College Committee for Special Strategies. He received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1990 and graduated from Williams College in 1986.
