Vice Chairman of Paramount Pictures Corporations

Rob Moore serves as the Vice Chairman of Paramount Pictures, overseeing the studio’s Worldwide Marketing, Distribution, Home Entertainment, Digital, Interactive, Television, Licensing, and Business Affairs divisions. He joined Paramount in 2005 as President of Worldwide Marketing, Distribution and Operations and was named to his current post in 2008.

Under his leadership, the studio has produced and distributed such commercially and critically acclaimed films as the “TRANSFORMERS,” “MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE,” “STAR TREK,” “TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES,” “PARANORMAL ACTIVITY,” and “G.I. JOE” franchises; the Academy Award®-winning films “THE BIG SHORT” and “SELMA;” the Academy Award®-nominated films “ANOMALISA,” “THE WOLF OF WALL STREET,” and “NEBRASKA;” and the hit films “THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE OUT OF WATER,” “INTERSTELLAR,” “WORLD WAR Z,” “TRUE GRIT,” “FLIGHT,” “SUPER 8,” “RANGO,” “HUGO,” “AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH,” “THERE WILL BE BLOOD,” “NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN,” “THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON,” “BABEL,” “SHUTTER ISLAND,” and “UP IN THE AIR.”

Prior to joining Paramount, Moore was a founding member and a partner at Revolution Studios, where he developed the strategic business plan and oversaw the formation of the company. Along with the company’s international production and distribution partners, Moore helped negotiate Revolution’s partnership and output agreements with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Starz Encore and Fox Entertainment. He also managed all aspects of Business Affairs, Finance, and Physical Production.

During Moore’s five years at Revolution Studios, the company released such box office hits as “AMERICA’S SWEETHEARTS,” “BLACK HAWK DOWN,” “xXx,” “MAID IN MANHATTAN,” “ANGER MANAGEMENT” and “DADDY DAY CARE.” Before Revolution Studios, Moore spent thirteen years at The Walt Disney Studio where he held numerous positions, departing as the Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations. He established himself at the Los Angeles branch of Arthur Andersen and Co. where he specialized in entertainment. Moore graduated from Pepperdine University in 1984 with a Business Degree.

He is a current member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
