After appearing on The Bachelorette, Higgins was announced as the season 20 Bachelor. During this season, he fell in love with and got engaged to Lauren Bushnell.

The couple starred in their own reality TV show Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? for one season, until they ultimately ended their engagement.

He is a co-host of the Ben & Ashley I. Almost Famous Podcast on iHeartRadio.
