David Montero is the author of Kickback: Exposing The Global Corporate Bribery Network. He was previously a correspondent for The Christian Science Monitor and a producer for FRONTLINE, PBS's flagship investigative series. Montero is known for documenting the impact of corruption in South and South East Asia.

Montero has received two Emmy Award nominations and won the South Asian Journalist Association's Daniel Pearl Award. He has also written for The New York Times, The Nation, and Le Monde Diplomatique.
