Dr. Jones is an author, national speaker, and the former C.E.O. of JONES, a firm he founded that specialized in providing inclusion and organizational effectiveness consulting services that supported leaders in achieving high performance through leveraging diversity. Dr. Jones is now the CEO of Global LeaderSHYFT, a company that harnesses deep expertise to provide cutting-edge leadership development, exceptional executive coaching, and invaluable organizational change consulting and training services to a diverse spectrum of companies, industries, and leadership levels.

Dr. Jones has provided transformational leadership development for leaders at companies such as Children's Hospital of LA, Honda, Hyundai, MRC Capital, and Sempra Energy. In addition, Dr. Jones provided speaking, consulting, and training services for organizations such as Billboard, Carnegie Science, the Conrad Prebys Foundation, the LA Zoo, Rady's Children Hospital, SDG&E, the Seattle Aquarium, SONY Music, SoCal Edison, and Solar Turbines, as well as multiple universities, educational institutions, and nonprofits across the country.

Nationally known as one of "America's Top Experts on Diversity" (Diversity, Inc. magazine), he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Multicultural Counseling, along with a Master’s & Ph.D. in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology. Dr. Jones is in the process of completing his second book entitled “The LeaderS.H.Y.F.T Secret.”
