Kurt Kane joined Wendy’s in May 2015, and is now the US President and Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, Kurt is responsible for all marketing, culinary and digital experience. Under his leadership, Wendy’s has consistently delivered sales growth, while being celebrated for building the brand in creative and provocative ways. This has led to the brand winning 15 Cannes Lions, while also building a reputation as a leader in the effective use of social media and challenger brand marketing. Prior to joining Wendy’s, Kurt held various marketing leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Molson Coors Brewing Company, Frito Lay and Yum! Brands. He has also been named a Top 40 Marketing Innovator to Watch by PR Week and one of the Top 10 Restaurant Industry Heavyweights by Nations Restaurant News. Kurt is a West Point graduate and earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
