Author, "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" and "How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia"

Mohsin Hamid is a Pakistani novelist, writer and brand consultant. He is the author of four novels, Moth Smoke, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia, and Exit West. Hamid is also the author of a book of essays, Discontent and Its Civilizations.

His writing has been featured on bestseller lists, adapted for the cinema, twice shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, and translated into over thirty-five languages.

His novel,Exit West, has been optioned by Netflix to become a feature film.

Prior to beginning his writing career, Hamid worked for several years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Hamid graduated from Princeton University summa cum laude in 1993 and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1997.
