Sonya Balmores is an American actress, model, and surfer from Kalaheo, Hawaii. She recently booked a recurring role on the new Freeform pilot, "Breckman Rodeo," and can be seen in a major recurring role on ABC'S Marvel's "Inhumans." She can also be seen in "Kuleana," released in Hawaii last year, and across several film festivals and comic cons including: The Guam International Film Festival, The Santa Cruz Film Festival, Maui Comic Con and The Hawaii International Film Festival.

Balmores was a former Miss Teen Hawaii who graced the covers of Shape and Womens Health. With her surfing background, she played the role of Kai as a Series Regular on "Beyond the Break." She also played Malina as a Supporting Lead on "Soul Surfer," playing the main antagonist to Anna Sophia Robb's character. Her current network credits include Guest Stars on CBS' "Hawaii 5-0" and "NCIS."

On the feature side, Balmores can be seen as Malia opposite Gerard Butler, O’Shea Jackson, Jr., and 50 Cent in "Den of Thieves."
