Actor Known for Marvel's "Black Panther" and "Us"

Winston Duke is a Trinbagonian-American actor. He is best known for his work in Marvel films, portraying the character M'Baku. He has appeared in "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinity War," and "Avengers: Endgame."

He was born in Tobago. He moved to the U.S. with his mother and his sister when he was nine years old. He studied theatre at the University of Buffalo before attending Yale University, where he received his MFA in acting. He worked in theatre before making his onscreen debut in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Soon after, he was cast as a regular on "Person of Interest."

Duke also appeared in a few episodes of the CW drama "The Messengers" and on ABC hit series "Modern Family." He guest starred on an episode of the crime drama "Major Crimes" in 2015.

In 2018, he made his feature film debut in Marvel's "Black Panther." He portrays the character M'Baku in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has also appeared in "Avengers: Infinity War." He will appear in the highly anticipated "Avengers: Endgame."

In 2019, Duke starred alongside Lupita Nyong'o in "Us," Jordan Peele's horror thriller and follow-up to "Get Out."
