Dubbed “an unlikely leader of America’s largest and fastest-growing progressive media empire” by Politico, Aidan Kohn-Murphy is the 18-year-old Founder, President of the Board, and Senior Advisor of Gen-Z for Change, a nonprofit advocacy coalition of over 500 social media creators leveraging digital platforms for social justice. With an audience of over a half billion, Gen-Z for Change is a leader in progressive politics.

In Kohn-Murphy’s two years as Executive Director, he scaled Gen-Z for Change from a simple idea into one of the most successful youth organizations in the country. He has overseen partnerships with the White House, the DNC, Fair Fight, Made to Save, March On, Climate Power, Accountable Tech, and more.

He and Gen-Z for Change have been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Politico to name a few. In October, Kohn-Murphy was named one of GLAAD’s 20 under 20 and the 2023 MIT Solve’s Ambassador. He has spoken at the Aspen Ideas Festival, the Harvard Institute of Politics, and more.
