An entrepreneur since 1979, Dave has started and sold three separate businesses in North and South Carolina. He began speaking professionally in January of 1995 and started Dave Oakes Seminars in 1996. Dave presents seminars and keynote speeches to about 80 groups per year.

He is recognized as an expert on some of the most popular business topics such as presentation skills, time management and customer service.

Dave's polished, professional style draws the audience into the learning process from the beginning of his presentations. During keynote speeches and seminars, he helps participants find solutions to real world management concerns. Upon completion of the seminar, trainees have the tools needed for immediate practical application.

Dave uses humor to show people that change is healthy and necessary for quality improvement. His focus is on future trends and their effect on the professional and personal lives of people in his audiences.
