Michelle is a recent graduate from Oxford University with a passion for Economics, photography and Japanese culture. She is a former scholar of Khazanah Nasional, the Malaysian government's strategic investment house, and currently works as an associate in their Strategic Management division. She enjoys freelance photography in her spare time, as well as thinking up a host of wild ideas that she hopes will make a difference in the world, starting with Malaysia. Among these ideas include a pet project to kickstart a national level student think tank that will aim to represent the previously under-represented student community in promoting fresh, practical and innovative policy ideas. She also co-founded and currently blogs for TehTarikEconomist, a Malaysian youth-run Economics website dedicated to promoting stimulating Economics discussions on current issues in an accessible and non-partisan manner.
