R.A. Mihailoff is an American film and television actor and a former professional wrestler who is probably best known for portraying the role of Leatherface in the film Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, the third in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. He began his career in 1980 with a role in the science fiction film, The Lathe of Heaven and has appeared in TV series like Full House and Highway to Heaven and in films like License to Drive, but his penchant is for horror films. Mihailoff has been in dozens of scary movies, usually as the villain. He co-starred in Hatchet II with his good friend Kane Hodder. R.A. has been busy with his latest being: Smothered, a horror-comedy written and directed by John Schneider of Dukes of Hazzard fame and produced by The Sessions executive producer Doug Blake; Fury: The Tales of Ronan Pierce starring Michael McCarthy, Jordan Elizabeth, and Kane Hodder; and Alien Hunger, starring Battlestar Galactica’s, Richard Hatch. Look out for R.A. in the highly anticipate, Death House, coming 2017.

In his free time, Mihailoff has been ghost hunting in a paranormal group called the Hollywood Ghost Hunters. It is a “group of people who normally make a living by trying to scare other people. Everybody in the group has something to do with horror movies.” The group was founded by Kane “Jason” Hodder who played the lead role of Jason Vorhees in the Friday The 13th series, and his partner Rick “Stuntman” McCullum, a Hollywood stuntman and actor who doubles for horror film actors like Sid Haig. They formed the team after filming Fallen Angels at Mansfield Reformatory where they claim to have had a paranormal experience in one of the cell blocks. Hollywood Ghost Hunters was featured on the “Pico House” episode of Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures.

Director, John Schneider (Actor, Dukes of Hazzard), wrote and directed a hilarious take on five horror icons who ditch an unprofitable autograph signing convention to earn some extra cash haunting an RV park, but find themselves being haunted instead. In “Smothered“, R.A. along with horror film icons, Kane Hodder, Don Shanks, Malcolm Danare, and Bill Mosely starred in this film released in 2014.
