Sally Mulhern received her law degree in 1982 from Cornell Law School, and her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Boston College in 1979. She is a founding partner in the law firm of Mulhern & Scott PLLC, with an office in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Sally concentrates in sophisticated estate planning techniques, is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and has been selected by her peers as one of Woodward & White’s The Best Lawyers in America. She is also a member of Outstanding Lawyers of America. She speaks nationally to global financial institutions, universities (1999 and 2006 Cornell University keynote speaker on estate planning), international charities, trust departments, financial advisors and professional organizations. Sally has spoken three times at MDRT, and was a main platform speaker at the AALU Annual Meeting in Washington, DC in 2005, where she shared the podium with Colin Powell and James Carville. In April 2007, Sally will return to the AALU Annual Meeting, where she will speak immediately following George H.W. Bush. She is regularly quoted in the regional and national press, and recently appeared on CBS MarketWatch and in the Wall Street Journal and in Dow Jones Newswire. Sally is the author of Estate Planning To Die For: An Insider’s Guide For Financial Professionals, which has earned rave reviews from industry leaders, and is currently in its second printing.
