Tricia Van Eck is Artistic Director of 6108NORTH, a newly established communal space for experimental culture, installation, food, sound, and performance art in Edgewater, Chicago. Beginning its second year, 6018NORTH has received numerous grants and critical attention for its Happiness Project. It recently opened the exhibition Home: Public or Private which runs through October. Previously she was Associate Curator at the MCA, where her last project was artist Mark Bradford's retrospective and community residency. In 13 years at the MCA she presented over 70 exhibitions.
