Xavier is a Medical Doctor and the High-Touch half of AccuHealth’s founding team. He graduated from Montpellier’s Medical School in France, did research in Barcelona, Spain, and received his MBA in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His earlier work includes working in TeleHealth SME with the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, Two UN agencies, and several Countries Development bodies. He started working with Pablo Felgaer, AccuHealth’s co-founder, on their Predictive approach back in 2004.

One-third of the world’s population has a chronic disease, but relying on crowded clinics or hospitals to manage these illnesses is inefficient and costly to patients, doctors, and insurers. AccuHealth provides a telemonitoring healthcare service that allows medical teams to remotely monitor and interact with patients, improving patient health and quality of life, and freeing up resources for medical providers. Dramatically reducing the costs associated with treating chronic disease complications, AccuHealth’s services have been adopted by six of Chile’s largest insurance providers. While some competitors offer telemonitoring hardware and others the backend software, AccuHealth is the only solution on the Latin American market that combines the two with an in-house medical staff to provide personalized, proactive care.
