Danielle Barnes is the CEO of Women Talk Design, where she is on a mission to amplify the voices of women and nonbinary folks as well as see a more diverse group of speakers on stage. She has trained hundreds of individuals on the power of storytelling and how to become more confident public speakers. She is the co-author of "Present Yourself: Proven Strategies for Authentic and Impactful Public Speaking," which aims to encourage more individuals to share their ideas, stories and expertise.

Prior to Women Talk Design, Barnes co-founded Austin Design Week, a week-long event celebrating the design community in Austin through 100+ free community-hosted talks, workshops, and events that ran for 15 years. Previously, she founded and led education company General Assembly's Austin campus, launched its San Francisco campus, and championed its first full-time User Experience Design Immersive program.

Barnes is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees.
