David Boehmer is a regional managing partner of the Americas' Financial Services Practice, dividing his time between the firm's San Francisco and New York offices. The practice is made up of the preeminent leadership search and advisory consultants in the region, with a broad range of expertise across the banking, investment management, insurance, payments and transaction services sectors. He continues to lead the Consumer & Commercial Finance sector, focused on institutions at the international, national, regional and community levels. Previously, David was the head of the Financial Services Infrastructure Practice for the Americas, a practice made up of teams focused on the functional areas of financial services to include finance, risk, legal, compliance, technology, operations, audit, human resources and sales & marketing.

David’s portfolio of search and advisory work over the years has spanned senior front office and functional roles including CEO, CIO, COO and general management positions across banking, asset management, hedge fund, capital markets, insurance and alternative investment clients.

Prior to joining the firm, David was a managing associate with a generalist boutique executive search firm located in New York City. Before joining the boutique in 2001, David served with another global executive search firm where he was a member of their technology & telecommunications practice.

David was named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2012, and is an active board member of the Komera Project, a not-for-profit focused on supporting girls' education in Eastern Africa. He also serves as a Big Brother in the Big Brother Big Sister’s organization.
