Michael Bennett Jr. is an American football defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL).

Bennett began his football career in Highschool, where he made All-District honors as a defensive lineman in his senior year. He played college football at Texas A&M, and signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a undrafted free agent in 2009. Bennett has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Seattle Seahawks defensive is an outspoken on police violence and refused to stand during the National Anthem.

Through his charity, The Bennett Foundation, he aims to fight obesity through community, education, activity, and nutrition programs.
