Dr. Moira Gunn is perhaps best known as the host of "Tech Nation" and its regular segment, "BioTech Nation," airing on NPR affiliates and in separate podcast streams.

As a professor, she directs the Bioentrepreneurship program at the University of San Francisco, and in both areas, she is especially recognized for her work describing breakthrough science to the everyday person. One main thrust of her work – in both tech and biotech – involves unpacking what AI is really doing with all this Big Data, and where it’s good and bad, in turn. It is also important to know what we should be comfortable with, and where we must be vigilant.
