Frederick "Fred" Chavalit Tsao is a business tycoon in Asia and chairman of the IMC Group. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in engineering. After his graduation, he started working for IMC Group, the family's conglomerate business. Taking over the company at just 37 years old, Tsao turned the shipping company into a multi-national company with many business interests.

In 2019, Tsao co-authored "Quantum Leadership" with Chris Laszlo.
