Jenoyne Adams  

African-American Novelist.

Poet, dancer, and writer, Jenoyne Adams is author of the critically-acclaimed, nationally best-selling novel, Resurrecting Mingus and Selah's Bed. A PEN USA West Emerging Voices Fellow, Adams has been featured in programs at the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Essence Music Festival, the National Black Arts Festival, the Mark Taper Auditorium, the Schomburg Museum and the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.

Her performance is a mixture of song, poetry and dramatic fiction. Articles on Adams and her work have been featured in Essence, Heart and Soul, Honey, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Savoy and various other national outlets. She is currently working on her third novel, a nonfiction book dealing with relationships between mothers and daughters, and is an associate for the Levine/Greenberg Literary Agency in New York.
