Ross Frylinck      

Founder of Autonomy and Sea Change Project, Storyteller & South African Surfer

Ross Frylinck is the founding director of the Sea Change Trust. He is a media and events entrepreneur, curator, and journalist. Together with Craig Foster, he wrote the book "Sea Change: Primal Joy and the Art of Underwater Tracking," on their transformative experiences in the underwater realm on the Cape Peninsula. \

Frylinck is also a co-founder of Autonomy, the international exhibition for sustainable mobility based in Paris. He is a writer and photographer, and a former commissioning editor at Cambridge University Press. He has been working for ocean conservation for the past 15 years and lives in Cape Town. Frylinck is the co-founder of the Wavescape Festival which has been running for 15 years as the leading ocean culture and conservation event in South Africa.

Sea Change - Craig Foster & Ross Frylinck
The book visits the underwater kelp forests that authors Craig Foster and Ross Frylinck grew up playing in. This was to have a lasting impact on their lives. ‘Sea Change’ affords us a unique look into the rediscovery of the forests of their childhood. The book has been edited by Philippa Ehrlich and features photos by Foster from the past decade.
