Lori Butterworth is the founder of multiple non-profit organizations, which she has given keynotes on in the past. Butterworth helped to raise money for a friend whose son was diagnosed with cancer, and was so moved by this family that she began a non-profit organization to help families in similar situations. This foundation is called Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Association.

Back in 2001 Butterworth co-founded the Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition. She and co-founder Devon Dubbs currently serve as Executive Directors of this organization.

Butterworth urges people to be compassionate and to help families in need. She promotes volunteering and encourages making donations. Her non-profit organizations offer financial and emotional support to families in need.
