Victoria Chow is the founder of the cocktail bar and lifestyle brand, The Woods. Now the “Worlds First Nomadic Bar,” The Woods was a trailblazer for the artisanal cocktail and spirits scene in Asia upon opening in 2014. She was recently named Forbes 30 Under 30 and awarded the WSET & IWSC The Future 50 for her pioneering approach to drink concepts. Anticipating the city's now vibrant craft cocktail movement, Chow expanded operations in 2016 to include both KWOON, a canned cocktail brand, and The Woods Annex, a private 8-seater bar where she can continue to experiment and educate.

Chow comes from a background in event production and frequently incorporates this in The Woods' catering arm, Tailored by The Woods, which specializes in consulting luxury brands on one-of-kind F&B experiences at off-site events, as well as consumer activations for drink brands. She now focuses on consulting for bars and hospitality groups, teaching, producing original drinks content, and hosting tasting & appreciation sessions in order to elevate the understanding of and appreciation for the spirits craft.

Chow was born in California but travelled often between Hong Kong and San Francisco with my family before settling there for secondary school. She attended UC Berkeley where she studied Mass Communications and Art History.

Victoria Chow takes drinking seriously. She’s built her career around mixing some of Hong Kong’s best cocktails at sultry Hollywood Road watering hole The Woods and making artisanal canned concoctions a thing at KWOON. Victoria Chow is a force of nature—cheery, welcoming and incredibly gracious but a force of nature nonetheless. Her bar, The Woods, has morphed into one of Hong Kong’s hottest drinking hubs and includes The Lodge, an eight-seat bar-within-a-bar serving wildly inventive cocktails. She also oversees The Annex, a separate store and tasting room located down the street and, in her free time, KWOON, her very own line of canned craft cocktails.
